Mrs. Joyce Spencer proudly serves as the principal of Bladen Lakes Primary School, bringing more than 25 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, mentor, and school administrator.

Mrs. Spencer holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of the Southwest, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Carolina University, a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Teaching from Shortwood Teachers' College, and certification as an Exceptional Children Program Administrator. Her background in elementary education, curriculum development, and educational leadership has prepared her to support students, staff, and families with purpose and passion.

A dedicated advocate for student success, Mrs. Spencer believes in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment where every student feels valued and supported. She is committed to fostering strong relationships with students, meeting the professional needs of her staff, staying actively engaged with families, and encouraging the involvement of the broader community.
